On September 2, 2025, “CHDE” SNCO hosted the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, Magdalena Grono, as well as the Political Advisors of the EU Delegation to the RA, Silvia Zehe and Peter Svedberg.
The current mine problem in the Republic of Armenia, the challenges, the work carried out in the field of mine action, the projects implemented with EU support, future plans and the needs of the center were presented, in particular, the need to purchase a machine used in mine detection and survey during demining operations.
Magdalena Grono expressed interest in the work carried out in the field of mine action in the RA and expressed readiness to continue cooperation and support in the mentioned field.
