CHDE Organized A Training Course For The Sixth Shift of Deminers Leaving for Syria2020-09-15A practical and theoretical training course was organized for the sixth shift of deminers leaving for Syria at the Training Centre of the ''Center for Humanitarian Demining and Expertise'' (CHDE) in Ejmiatsin, equipped with the necessary training equipment and materials. All the participants involved in the training course were qualified and given certificates. The director of the ''Center for Humanitarian Demining and Expertise'' Ruben Arakelyan wished a successful mission to the trained deminers leaving for Syria.
CHDE SNCO has been given the right to carry out entrepreneurial activity in the framework of humanitarian demining2020-08-05The “Center for Humanitarian Demining and Expertise” informs that, according to the RA Government decree N864, CHDE SNCO has been given the right to carry out entrepreneurial activity in the framework of humanitarian demining. According to the Decree, hereinafter, CHDE is authorized to implement technical survey and demining operations by the order of physical and legal entities. This enables land owners and tenants whose lands are mine contaminated, to have their lands cleared on contractual basis. It should be noted that the expected profit will be directed to the RA mine victims’ rehabilitation and reintegration programs according to the CHDE SNCO Charter purposes.
Trainings commenced for the team preparing to the next shift to the mission in Syria2020-08-07The trainings have been conducted at the educational center of the Armenian Center for Humanitarian Demining and Expertise. The aim of the training is to provide the deminers necessary humanitarian demining skills to conduct the manual clearance according to the International Mine Action Standards and UN Mine Action Service in Syria Technical Guidelines and Standards. The trainings will be continued up to 15 September.
